I realised when looking at our blogs that i was really neglecting mine at that having no internet was no excuse after my dongle purchase.

After several months with no internet i have found something out:

- I cannot live without the internet!

-you miss out on Uni announcements /emails

-you miss out on status update (sometimes a good thing!)

-you forget you have a blog

-your computer wonders what happen to you

-you become glued to you tv- thank you sky+ more importantly ANTM!

-you stare at walls

-you get excited at Wi Fi in uni

-you get to know the library

-Your phone bills get ridiculously high trying mobile internet –don’t bother…..

Billy Bags! I have two and want more! I love handbags.. yes I am such a girl! I think with these bags its not just about the brand, they are really well made and are always that bit different! Anyone offering to buy me a new one would be greatly relieved! :D

Abit about the company:

“Founded by Neal and Charlotte Gershinson, Billy Bag (lovingly named after the family King Charles Spaniel!), has been designing beautiful handbags and accessories since 1998.

Following Neal’s ten years at Burberry, overseeing the global wholesale accessories business and Charlotte’s experience in the fashion and film industry, their combined talent and knowledge has been invaluable in developing the Billy Bag brand.

Passionate about product, and keen to extend the range, Billy Bag is forever building upon the core bag line, with new additions season after season. The collection now includes; Luxury leather travel goods and gifts, men’s bags and accessories and weekend holdalls.

After launching the first quirky collection in world famous Harrods in Autumn 1999, Billy Bag is now stocked in over 150 prestigious retail outlets around the world. Today, stockists include Selfridges, House of Fraser, Urban Outfitters and John Lewis in the UK, Le Bon Marche in Paris and David Jones in Australia.”

Here is a sneaky peek of one idea (obviously this isn’t my idea but its definitely relevant!) that is in running for ‘Fiona’s next top..radio’ Ok so I am a little obsessed with America’s Next Top Model just now…!
I have found my self at a crossroad so far with this project (designing a radio if you hadn’t already guessed!), what I initially set out to do is verging in a different direction.. I need to decided whether this is a good thing.. understanding my values or whether I should say put and stay loyal to my original insights… I will keep you posted .

.s_kneelchair

“The KneelChair is an innovative new approach to paraplegic mobility. The chair places users in a kneeling position, which lengthens the torso, ensures that the internal organs are not compressed and maximizes blood flow. The use of bicycle gears coupled with levers reduces the effort required to power the wheels, allowing a shorter, more ergonomic motion and maximizing the power output of each stroke. The ergonomics are also improved with breathable mesh seating surfaces for increased airflow and cushioning. The seat height is adjustable, making it easier to transfer in and out of the chair”. Design: Chris Wu (U.S.) http://images.businessweek.com/ss/08/07/0717_idea_winners/177.htm

I stumbled across this ‘kneelchair’ whilst researching what products are on offer to paraplegics.
